Biography

Meredith Smith represents insurers and their insureds in complex litigation suits arising from automotive claims.
Outside of the firm, Meredith volunteers as an attorney for low-income individuals with landlord/tenant disputes related to evictions.

While pursuing her law degree at the University of Oregon, Meredith worked as a judicial extern at the King County Superior Court and the Oregon Supreme Court. Meredith gained broad experience researching case law, advising and observing civil motions, and observing criminal docket proceedings including trials, sentencing and arraignment hearings.

In addition, Meredith worked as a summer Associate for an insurance defense firm in Spokane, where she wrote motions and appellate briefs for state superior and appellate courts.
