Heather’s practice, informed by years working in-house at a major insurance carrier, focuses on the representation of insurers and their insureds against claims involving automotive liability.
Before embarking on her legal career, Heather was a dynamic member of the Lewis & Clark Law School campus, serving as Secretary of the Minority Law Students Association, in addition to her membership in the Student Bar Association Admissions Committee, the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, and the Employment Law Society. While enrolled, she gained practical experience clerking at an employment firm in Portland, Oregon. Upon graduation, Heather worked, first as a paralegal and then as an attorney, in-house at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. She maintained an active caseload of up to 40 matters and represented personal and commercial policyholders in civil litigation matters including premises liability, property damage, and auto accident claims. This work provided significant insight into the inner workings of a major insurance carrier, further strengthening both Heather’s acumen and desire to provide outstanding service to insurers and their insureds.
When away from her desk, you can find Heather outside on hiking trails with her dog, riding her bike, gardening, working out at various studios around town, or attempting to whip up something delicious in the kitchen.
