Please join us in welcoming Erica Li and Tate Kirk – two of our new Associate Attorneys at Smith Freed Eberhard’s Seattle, WA office!
Erica’s practice focuses on Personal Lines and Commercial Liability Defense. Admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 2024 and a member of the Asian Bar Association of Washington, Erica brings a depth of life experience and a dedication to effective, insightful advocacy in her legal career. She has a wide range of hobbies including but not limited to snowboarding, hiking, Legos, reading, cooking (learning new recipes), and watching true crime documentaries.
Tate’s practice primarily focuses on Commercial Liability Defense. In law school, Tate wrote an article which critiques the Clean Air Act, arguing that it fails to address regional climate differences and perpetuates environmental injustice. He advocates for granting local governments greater autonomy to enforce the Act, enabling them to tailor solutions that combat air pollution and address localized environmental inequities more effectively. Tate enjoys going to different sporting events around Seattle as well as exploring the different parts of the city. He enjoys traveling, both around Washington and around the world.
