Erica is an Associate Attorney at Smith Freed Eberhard and her practice primarily focuses on Personal Lines and Commercial Liability Defense.
Prior to law school, Erica worked as a clinic coordinator in Seattle, where she honed her organizational and analytical skills in a high-stakes environment. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and later obtained her law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law. During law school, Erica balanced an intensive schedule—working part-time, serving in the school’s legal clinic, excelling in oral argument competitions, and volunteering for the pro bono legal clinic at the Chinese Information and Services Center.
Admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 2024 and a member of the Asian Bar Association of Washington, Erica brings a depth of life experience and a dedication to effective, insightful advocacy in her legal career.
Returning to her childhood aspiration of becoming an attorney, Erica joined Smith Freed Eberhard. She takes pride in her role as a problem solver and critical thinker. Erica is a committed attorney known for her strong work ethic and strategic problem-solving abilities.
Erica is an adventurous person who is always open to try new things. She has a wide range of hobbies including but not limited to snowboarding, hiking, Legos, reading, cooking (learning new recipes), and watching true crime documentaries. She genuinely enjoys trying things out at least once.
